Yes, Workforce Career Center is a licensed and accredited institution of higher learning known as a career college. Different from seemingly more traditional two- and four-year schools which also exist under the collegiate umbrella, career colleges – also known as vocational schools – focus on providing students the knowledge, skills and hands-on training needed to enter a specific career, field or trade. Career college program curricula generally take weeks or months (rather than years) to complete and often include real-world externship experience as well as career placement services.

Workforce Career Center offers diploma programs in the fields of healthcare (Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, Medical Billing and Insurance Coding, Medical Office Specialist, and Pharmacy Technician), business (Business Office Administration), and multiple trades (HVAC, Automotive Technician, Criminal Justice, Electrician Technician, and Welding). Most of these career diploma programs can be completed in as little as 10 months and include both hands-on and real-world training and experience.

Yes, each Workforce Career Center campus location is accredited by one of two accreditation agencies. The UEI College Anaheim, Chula Vista, Encino, Garden Grove, Huntington Park, Oceanside, Ontario, Stockton and West Covina campuses in California, the Phoenix and Mesa campuses in Arizona, and the Morrow campus in Georgia are all accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET). The WorkForce campuses in Bakersfield, Gardena, Fresno, Riverside and Sacramento in California, the United Education Institute campuses in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dallas, Texas, and Stone Mountain, Georgia, and the WorkForce College in Tacoma, Washington are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).

Accreditation is a recognition that the college and/or institution maintains a high level of educational standards, as determined by an independent accrediting agency.

All career training and diploma programs at Workforce Career Center can be completed in as few as 10 months, allowing us to keep tuition rates lower than many two- and four-year college options. Most students at WorkForce qualify for financial aid, federal loans and grants, and/or scholarships, which can help make the cost of earning career-specific training through WorkForce programs more affordable.
