About This Program
Workforce Career Center’s Medical Assistant Program teaches students how to work with patients, doctors, and nurses to improve the quality and efficiency of care that patients receive while at a clinic or hospital.
The program covers office procedures, pharmacology, drug administration, and electrocardiography, providing students with the administrative and clinic training they will need to begin a new career as a medical assistant.

Workforce Career Center offers the Medical Assistant (MA) program, which is taught in a hybrid format. This means that students will be required to attend remote classes while also going on campus for hands-on, in-person sessions. As such, class hours may vary based on the needs and availability of individual students, who may choose either daytime or even classes and labs.
